I've learned that lasting change doesn't come from blaming people...it comes from designing better systems.
Whether it's a family, a treatment program, or a county, the same principle applies:
When people understand the process, trust the leadership, and have a voice in decisions, better outcomes follow.
That's why I'm running for Washington County Commissioner. I believe good government isn't measured by political victories...It's measured by whether families have opportunities, water is protected, growth is planned wisely, and people trust the decision being made.

Came to Southern Utah in 1999 to attend Utah Tech (formally Dixie College).
Earned a BSW at BYU-Hawaii
Earned an MSW from Illinois State
Built a career serving Washington County Families.
Twenty years of helping people rebuild their lives.
Why I'm running...
I'm running because I believe government should do more that manage today's problems.
It should create the conditions for peole to build better lives.
Over the past two decades, as a social worker and therapist, I've watched people overcome addiction, rebuild families, and transform their futures when they had opportunity, dignity and support. I've also seen how poorly designed systems can make those same journeys harder than they need to be.
That experience changed how I think about leadership.
I believe every decision a county commissioner makes should strengthen the people who live here, protect the land we depend on, and create opportunity for future generations.
